MoWR ensures implementation of winter season agricultural plan

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Water Resources, Muhaned al-Saadi, announced that there are large amounts of water in Klal Badra Valley in Wassit province.

Saadi mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday ”The large quantities of water which was resulted by the rains falling in the area will ensure the implementation of the agricultural plan for winter agricultural season.”

The statement pointed out ”This water will be used in cultivating and drinking purposes in Badra and Jesan areas of eastern Wassit province.”

The coordination committee between the Ministry of Water Resource and the Ministry of Agricultural held its regular meeting to discuss the agriculture plan for the current winter agricultural season which is interested in cultivating the strategic crops of wheat and barley and other crops. \
