IA Soldier killed in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed due to an armed attack in eastern Mosul.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Monday “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting an Iraqi Army soldier, killing him immediately, in Fadhiliya area of eastern Mosul city, the capital of Nineveh province.”

The source added “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack while the police transported the dead body of the soldier to the morgue.”
