Parliament forms investigation committee over armament deal with Russia

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament, during its regular session on Tuesday, has voted on several law drafts in addition to forming an investigation committee to investigate the corruption accompanying the armament deal with Russia.

A statement by the media office of the parliament cited “The parliament started its session by condemning the Israeli attack on Gaza strip and voted on forming a committee to investigate the arrest and torture of women in the prisons.”

“The parliament voted on forming an investigation committee to investigate the corruption that accompanied the armament deal with Russia,” the statement added.
