Zebari, Representative of NATO discuss situation of Syria, Gaza strip

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, discussed with the Representative of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) the mutual relations and the situation in Syria and Gaza strip.

A statement by the Foreign Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “Zebari met the NATO Representative who handed him an invitation to visit the headquarters of the NATO where they discussed the mutual relations between Iraq and the NATO.”

“Zebari appreciated the role of NATO after toppling the previous regime in Iraq especially after the forming the training mission of the NATO to train the Iraqi security forces,” the statement added.

“The two sides have also discussed the Israeli attack on Gaza strip and the Syrian situation,” the statement concluded.
