Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, stressed the necessity of unifying the statement among the political blocs.
A statement received by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan cited “Talabani received the Secretary General of Kurdistan Islamic Union (KIU) Mohammad Faraj in Erbil, and the accompanied delegation where they discussed the latest developments and Kurdish unified position towards them.”
“Both sides exchanged their opinions about the most prominent and outstanding developments in Iraq and the region, stressing the necessity of developing both parties’ relations based on the Kurdistan high interests,” the statement added.
“They insisted on the Kurdistan‘s common missions to be discharged at the best level as well as forming consensus among the Kurdish political parties especially in the delicate situations,” the statement concluded.
