Urgent – .car bomb explodes targeting MP residence in Mosul

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Seven civilians were injured when a car bomb and IED exploded successively in front of the residence of MP Wisal Saleem of the Iraqiya Slate in Maliya neighborhood of eastern Mosul.

A security source told IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “A car bomb has been went off followed by an explosion of IED in front of MP Saleem’s house in eastern Mosul, resulted in injuring 7 civilians who were accidently near the incident spot among them an instructor and two of her bodyguards in addition to causing material damages to the house.”

“A security relevant team managed to defuse an IED that was ready for detonating in the same place,” the source added.
