Maliki denies firm proofs over corruption in armament contracts
A statement by his office quoted him as saying in a press interview “I do not have a firm proof over the corruption in the armament deals,” noting that “I did not neglect this issue so I have changed the negotiating delegation immediately.”
Concerning the competition in the next elections, he said “I am optimistic concerning forming national slates and we should form a government of political majority.”
Over the Syrian crisis, he concluded saying “We support the Syrian people in its options to choose the alternative regime without reservation.”
