Nusaiyf: Endorsement of General Budget law to witness many objections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf, of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc stated that there are tensions among the MPs over many items of the General Budget of 2013 which will result in hindering its endorsement in the parliament.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) , she stated “We hope that the General Budget not to be included within the political disputes especially coinciding with the local elections,” noting that “The governmental institutions are waiting for the budget to be endorsed.

“We cannot say that the budget is constitutionally and legally complete because the final accounts of the last budgets are not ready yet and some of the items of the budget are not legal and constitutional where they cannot be accepted by the MPs,” she added.

“Some items of the budget stated to allocate huge amounts of funds to certain ministries, whereas it did not allocate the same to other ministries and this will be the disputed upon issue,” she concluded.
