Saad calls government to use electronic system regarding final accounts of budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Suzan al-Saad, of al-Fadhila bloc called the government to use the electronic system in dealing with the account and expenses of the general budget in order to make a comprehensive system of the final accounts of the previous budgets.

She stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The problem in endorsing the general budget and in presenting the final accounts is an accumulative problem where there is a delay in providing the final accounts by all the ministries.”

“I think the electronic government project will be the best to settle this issue and making a unified system for the final accounts of all the previous budgets in order to submit it to the parliament along with the new budget to be endorsed,” she concluded.

The parliament is to discuss the general budget of 2013 during its sessions on next Monday and Tuesday.
