Kurdish MP: Security leaders have no legal immunity
In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “Any citizen has the right to complain against any security leader who orders the military units to conduct operations where the accidents happen and some citizens are subject to be killed.”
“The deployment of the security forces in areas that the constitution does allow them to be, gives the citizens the right to complain against the security leaders,” he added, noting that “Those leaders are not approved by the parliament to be in their posts.”
He called “The government to constitutionally provide the immunity to the security leaders by sending their names to the parliament to be approved.”
