Kiyani, UNDP discuss enhancing performance parliamentary committees

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Regions and Provinces Parliamentary Committee, Mohamed Kiyani, and a delegation from the UNDP discussed means of enhancing the performance of the parliamentary committees.

A statement by the parliament received by IraqiNews.com cited “Kiyani received the delegation of the UNDP where both sides discussed some issues presented by the delegation including developing the Federal regime.”

“The delegation presented a proposal over forming a committee from all the parliamentary committees to develop the State employees’ performance through amending the laws,” the statement continued.

“Both sides confirmed upgrading the performance of the Regions Parliamentary Committee through seminars over the Federation,” the statement concluded.
