Car bombs explode in Tuz Khurmatu

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Two car bombs exploded in Tuz Khurmatu district, which belongs to Salah-il-Din province on Monday morning.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The first car bomb went off in al-Shuhada neighborhood and the second exploded in al-Askari neighborhood,” noting that “The two explosions resulted in killing five persons and injuring 25 others and caused material damages to the nearby houses and vehicles.”

Tuz Khurmatu is considered as one of the disputed areas between Central Government and the Kurdistani Regional Government.
