PUK condemns latest bombings in Kirkuk

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The spokesperson of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Azad Jindiani, had condemned the terrorist attacks in Kirkuk which took place on last Sunday.

A statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday quoted Jindiani, as saying “We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks against the citizens of Kirkuk province especially those against the Shiite people.”

“Many innocent people were killed and injured in these terrorist attacks which targeted vireos areas in Kirkuk, the attacks resulted in killing and injuring 53 people,” he added, noting that “The terrorist attacks had increased in this particular time as the tension among the Iraqi political parties had increased, these attacks aimed at causing harm for the innocent people of Kirkuk.”
