VP Khuzayi assures settlement of KA, CG crisis soon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, discussed with the Advisor of the US Foreign Ministry, Bret Mickork, the latest political updates in Iraq.

A statement by Khuzayi’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “Khuzayi received Mickork where he assured that the crisis between Kurdistan Region and the Central Government will be settled soon.

“There are many efforts exerted by the presidency to settle the crisis where the next few days will witness the settlement of the crisis permanently, stressing the necessity of not repeating such crisis in Iraq because it affects the political process.”

“The Iraqi government is serious over the unity of Iraq especially in the current situation and the challenges in the region,” the statement added.

“Mickork appreciated the efforts of the presidency and Khuzayi’s in particular in settling the crises, assuring the readiness of her country to support Iraq in settling the crisis that affects its sovereignty,” the statement concluded.
