Urgent – .Peshmerga describes shooting federal army’s aircrafts as cautionary & unplanned

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Peshmerga Ministry within Kurdistan Regional Government described the fire shooting on two aircrafts associated to the Iraqi federal army that soared on military sites belong to Peshmerga forces in Kirkuk as cautionary and unplanned.

A statement by Peshmega Ministry cited on Thursday “At 1445 pm, a force at Peshmerga military unit launched warning shoots to warn two military planes correlated with the Iraqi federal army while they were approaching from site of that unit.”

Earlier, Peshmerga ministry has quoted, on last Tuesday, the ministry’s undersecretary, Annu Haj Othman as saying “The defense forces shot in air targeting two federal army’s planes in Kirkuk province.”
