Citizen MP calls to grant more authorities to provinces

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hassan al-Sari, of the Citizen bloc called to grant more authorities to the provinces that go in harmony with their population.

Sari stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Friday “The provinces need more authorities where it is necessary to allocate the budgets by taking into consideration the population ratios of the provinces.”

“It is important to grant the required authorities to the provinces to develop their economic and serve levels where the citizens will be the observers on their performance,” he added.

“Most of the provinces has no more than four or five directors general of the directorates, but the ministries has more than 30 or 40 DJs,” he pointed out, stressing the necessity of “Providing job opportunities in the provinces.”
