Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Yasin Majid, of the State of Law Coalition attacked the Turkish Premier, Recep Tayib Erdogan, due to the latter’s statements against the Iraqi government.

In a press conference held at the parliament building, Majid stated “Erdogan’s statements that target Iraq and the Iraqis, are not the first but they are sectarian ones where he wants to set himself as a policeman in the region as what the former Shah of Persia where we ask him not why did not he interfere in the Egyptian, the Libyan and the Tunisian issues? Is it because the Muslims Brothers Organization rules those countries?”

“Erdogan talks about the Sunni people in Iraq as if they do not have any one to talk on behalf of them where he describes Iraq as Syria as the former terrorist leaders Abu Musaab al-Zirqawi stated in 2005,” he added.

He accused Erdogan of “The destruction and the violence in Syria because of his interference,” calling to “Dismiss the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq and the political blocs to condemn Erdogan’s statements.”
