Parliament performance in 2012 weak due to political disputes, says Bafi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hameed Bafi, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed that the Parliament performance was weak during 2012 due to the disputes and the lack of trust among the political blocs.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The role of the parliament is too week due to the disputes and political problems in addition to the disobedience of the executive authorities for the parliament.”

“We wish 2013 to witness a activating the parliament role more to present the best services for the Iraqis,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that more than 150 laws were endorsed by the parliament during 2012 in addition to discussing dozens of other laws but some observes assure the weak supervisory role of the parliament as well as its failure in endorsing the vital laws.
