Mashhadani releases initiative to settle crisis of Anbar demonstrators

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Informed sources stated that the former parliament Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, handed an initiative to the political leaders to settle the crisis of the demonstrations in Anbar province.

The sources stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Mashhadani handed an initiative to the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki and the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi that comprises five articles to settle the current crisis in Anbar province.”

“More than 1o political and governmental sides received the draft of the initiative where some of them considered it as positive and can settle the crisis,” the sources added.

“Mashhadani met the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary, on Sunday night to discuss the initiative then Jaafary phoned Nijaifi to discuss it with him,” the sources pointed out.

“Most of the political blocs welcomed this initiative,” the sources concluded.
