Urgent – Babel Governor survives assassination attempt

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Babel Governor survived an assassination attempt when a car bomb targeted his patrol near the government building.

A security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Monday “The car bomb parked near the government building and targeted the Governor’s patrol, resulting in injuring two of his guards.”

“Security forces hurried to the incident scene and transported the injured guards to the nearby hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
