Kurdish MP: We appreciate Religious Authority’s call to protect demonstrators

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of Taghyeer bloc, Haval Quistani, appreciated “The call of the Religious Authority to protect the demonstrators.”

Earlier, the representative of the religious authority in Karbala province, Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalayi, called “To avoid any possible clashes to take place between the security forces and the demonstrators.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), Quistani said “The Religious Authority’s call is excellent and there must be a law to organize and protect the demonstrations.”

“The demonstrations should be peaceful and non-violent,” he mentioned.

“The demonstrations in Anbar are normal and public but the demonstrations in Baghdad are politicized to affect the other side,” he concluded.
