Parliament going on to endorse law of limiting 3 Presidencies terms, says Khalidi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The reporter of the Parliament, Mohamed al-Khalidi, rejected to reveal the names of the MPs who signed the request to investigate the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in the parliament.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The parliament is going on to endorse the law of limiting the terms of the three Presidencies.”

“Some MPs submitted a request to investigate Maliki over his way of running the government,” he added.

“Monday session will involve voting on General Amnesty law, Federal Court law and reconsidering the Justice and Accountability law,” he assured.

In response to a question over dissolving the parliament, he said “There are two ways to dissolve the parliament, one of them is to submit a request by 50 MPs and then the parliament votes on the request to be approved if gets 163 votes, the other way is to submit a request by the Government to the Presidency to be referred to the parliament later,” he concluded.
