Car bomb targets PUK headquarter in Salah-il-Din

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) A Kurdish News Agency quoted a security source in Erbil as confirming “Another car bomb exploded targeted the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, headed by the President, Jalal Talabani, in central Tuz Khurmatu district of Salah-il-Din province after the two car bombs that exploded targeting the Kurdistani Democratic Party, headed by Masoud Barzani, in central Kirkuk on Wednesday.

The source added “Two Peshmerga elements were killed in the explosion while 34 others were injured but there are four other Peshmerga elements that are missing yet.”

“The Ambulances hurried to the explosion site and transferred the dead as well as the injured to the hospital which witnesses wide deployment of Iraqi Army and Peshmerga elements around it,” the source concluded.

Earlier, car bombings took place in central Kirkuk province targeting the building of the Kurdistani Democratic Party on Wednesday morning.
