Sadrist MP: Ba’athist, Qaeda involved in Anbar demonstrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Riyadh al-Zayadi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, stated that the members of the former Ba’ath Party and al-Qaeda Terrorist Organization are involved in the current demonstrations in the western provinces.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Ba’athist and Qaeda elements have involved in the demonstrations in addition to the agendas of the foreign countries.”

“The demonstrations were legitimate when they started and the government started to respond to their demands where the parliament will start to discuss the demands that need amendments in the constitution,” he added.

‘The loser from the current demonstrations will be the Iraqi people as the Syrian people who became target to the criminal,” he pointed out, assuring that “The Iraqis have to make the enemies of Iraq to miss the chance to achieve their goals.”
