PUK: Iraqi Central Government not serious in addressing problems

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The political office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, headed by the President, Jalal Talabani discussed the latest developments on the Iraqi political arena.

A statement by the PUK cited “The PUK’s political office held, on last Saturday, a meeting under supervision of the First Deputy of the Union’s Secretary General, Kosert Rasoul, where the conferees discussed the political situation in Iraq and Kurdistan Region.”

He added “We did not touch any earnest steps by the Central Government to address the political problems and crises,” noting that “The PUK is still committed to the dialogue and the previous agreements over resolving the disputes and crises.”
