IED explodes in northern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded in northern Baghdad on Wednesday.

IraqiNews.com reporter stated “The IED that was emplaced at the road side in al-Silikh area went off targeting a police patrol,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring three civilians and caused material damages to a patrol vehicle.”

“A security force hurried to the explosion, blocking it and transferring the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the reporter concluded.
