IED goes off in western Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Three elements of the Iraqi Federal Police were injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in western Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Saturday ”The IED exploded targeting a patrol of the IFP in Zanjeli area of western Mosul,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring three elements of the police patrol.”

”The security forces cordoned the incident area and transported the injured policemen to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source added.
