MoE forms committee to reduce pollution in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Environment formed a committee to follow up the environmental pollution in Iraq.The Ministry of Environment mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The formed committee consist of ministries of Oil, Health, Municipalities, Industry, Water Resources, Agriculture, Human Rights, Baghdad Mayorship and the Iraqi Industries Union.””The Ministry of Environment held several meetings with the concerned ministries in which it demanded them to prepare reports and future plans to address pollution,” the statement added.”The Ministry will hold a meeting with the local governments of provinces to reduce pollution and to provide the financial support to address any defect may occur during implementing the procedures of reducing pollution,” the statement concluded.
