Kurds not to support one side against another during current crisis, says Bafi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hameed Bafi, of the Kurdistani Democratic Party assured “The Kurds will not support any side against another during the current political crisis in the country.”

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Kurds are not merely spectators but they also do not want to stand by a side against another,” noting that “Since the beginning of the crisis, the Kurdistani Regional Presidency expressed its readiness to mediate among the disputed sides to reach solutions accepted by all sides.”

“The Kurds are a part of the solution of the crisis and we repeatedly called to implement the legitimate demands that go in harmony with the constitution,” he added.

He attributed “Most of the political crises to the lack of adherence to the constitution by the ruling party.”
