Faraj attributes continuity of crisis to threats among political blocs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Burhan Mohamed Faraj, attributed the escalation of the current political crisis to the threats among the political blocs.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “The crisis is going on because the Iraqiya Slate threatens to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in addition to the threats launched by the State of Law Coalition to dismiss the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi.”

“Kurdistan Region is seeking to gather all the sides to create mutual understanding where an initiative will be launched to gather the blocs soon in by the Kurdish side,” he added.

He called “The political blocs to hold meetings to eliminate the disputes,” indicating “The significance of Kurdistan Region in holding these meetings.”

It is worth mentioning that the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, announced that he will present a new initiative to hold a dialogue among the political blocs in Erbil to solve the crisis.
