Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salaam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, criticized describing Maliki as “Dictator.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “If Maliki is a dictator, no demonstrations can take place in Iraq,” noting that “The slogan (Iraq or Maliki) is unaccepted and done by some sides supported by foreign sides and cannot be applied by force where we tell them that we need Iraq and Maliki and if they do not need Maliki we can say that they do not want Iraq.”

“Those who do not want Maliki are free but they cannot impose their slogan to 80% of the Iraqi people,” he added, noting that “Comparing Maliki to Hajaj as being dictator is unacceptable and will lead to hinder the dialogue to settle the current crisis.”
