SLC MP: Nijaifi’s statements allow Qaeda to target majority of Iraqis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ihsan al-Awadi, of the State of Law Coalition headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, stated that the statements of the Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the leader within the Iraqiya Slate allowed al-Qaeda Terrorist Organization to target the majority of the Iraqi people.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The demonstrations helped al-Qaeda as the sectarian statement of some sides where it gave it the right to kill more and more of the Iraqi people, but Nijaifi’s statements allow al-Qaeda to kill the majority of the Iraqi people according to sectarian basis.”

“The demonstrations proved that there are some political sides that do not believe in the political process and the sectarian statements in Anbar province showed that some sides consider the majority of Iraqi people do not belong to Iraq,” he added.

“These indicators are dangerous and give the legitimacy to al-Qaeda to kill the Iraqi people which made us to witness bloody events since 2013,” he concluded.
