Car bomb defused eastern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A security force detonated a car bomb under control and arrested the person who improvised it eastern Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “A force from the Iraqi Army/ 2nd Division detonated a car bomb emplaced near a book shop in Qadisiya neighborhood of eastern Mosul, the center of Nineveh province.”

“The force also arrested the owner of the book shop who admitted that he improvised the car bomb and seized a machine gun in his possession,” the source added, noting that “The explosion did not cause human casualties, but resulted in material damage to the shops close to the scene.”
