Kufa dam in Najaf province to be cleaned

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Water Resources announced that ”Its engineering cadres are cleaning the front area of Kufa dam of Najaf province.”The Ministry reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The technical and engineering cadres are implementing cleaning acts for rivers in Najaf province.””The formations of the Ministry of Water Resources are cleaning the front area of Kufa dam (13KM) far of Kufa city,” noting that “The location in Najaf province involved two sectors, which are Kufa-Abassiya) and Mishkhab sector,” the statement added.”The cleaning operations in Kufa dam aim to clean the river of the accumulated sediments and medians in order to facilitate the water flow in the river,” the statement concluded. \
