Asadi arrives to Tehran

(IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Adnan al-Asadi, has arrived to Iran in an official visit to conclude a security convention between Iraq and Iran.The Iranian News Agency, Mahr, reported that ”The Iranian Minister of Interior, Mustafa Mohamed al-Najar, met the Iraqi Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Adnan al-Asadi, within the framework of the Iraqi State visit to Iran.”The Iranian News Agency, Mahr, quoted the Iranian Minister of Interior as saying that ”In order to promote the economic, political, commercial and cultural relations between the two countries a security convention will be signed between Iraq and Iran.””The convention will focus on security aspects by combating organized crime and monitoring the borders as well as facilitating the entry of the pilgrims and tourists for both countries,” he added.”The security convention will include establishing new buildings and reconstructing the infrastructure of the border supermarkets in addition to exchanging security expertise, especially in combating drugs trading,” he continued saying.”The two countries decided to form a committee to follow up the items of the security convention in preparation to be signed,” he pointed out, noting that “The security convention will promote the mutual relations between Iraq and Iran.” The Iraqi Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Adnan Asadi, confirmed that ”The discussions with the Iranian side will facilitate procedures of the traveling between the two countries and the road freight.” \
