Urgent – .40 Syrian soldiers, employees killed in Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) 40 Syrian soldiers and governmental employees were killed on Monday in Anbar province when gunmen attacked them while the Iraqi authorities was trying to bring the victims back to their country.

Security source told Iraqi News “Unidentified gunmen opened fire killing 40 Syrian soldiers and employees while the Iraqi authorities were sending them to the Syrian borders in Anbar after they escaped the violence operation occurred at Yaraba border inlet over the past few days.”

“The gunmen opened fire targeting the bus carrying the victims,” the source added.
