13 suspected persons of attacking police station arrested in Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A security force arrested 13 suspected persons of attacking a police station in Sharqat district of northern Tikrit.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “A security force conducted a raid-search operation due to targeting a police station by a car bomb in Sharqat district on northern Tikrit where 13 suspected persons were arrested.”

“Some of the arrested persons belong to al-Qaeda Terrorist Organization and others are involved in criminal actions,” the source concluded.

Earlier, a car bomb exploded in Sharqat area targeting a police station resulted in injuring a lieutenant.
