Maliki, his Syrian counterpart discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki received a phone call from his Syrian counterpart, Mohamed Naji al-Otri, which is the first contact between both of them since last summer after a political dispute took place between them.

A statement by Maliki’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Both sides discussed through the phone call, the Iraqi-Syrian bilateral relations and means of enhancing them on political and economic levels.”
