Sajri describes giving Iraqi lands to Kuwait as Red line

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the People Trend, Ali l-Sajri, described giving some Iraqi lands to Kuwait as “Red line.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday, he said “No one has the right to give any piece of land to Kuwait under any condition where such decision is dangerous and must be endorsed by the parliament and we do not want the decisions of the United Nations to be implanted without the approval of the Iraqi people.”

“Re-considering the borders with Kuwait will result in wasting the Iraqi lands and create a big crisis,” he added, noting that “The UN’s decisions must be applied in all the countries not only Iraq and Kuwait should take lands that do not belong to it.”

Iraq intends to re-consider the borders with Kuwait which will result in immigrating more than 250 families and make their land belong to the Kuwaiti side.
