Ministry of Oil to establish forum promoting private sector companies

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Oil in cooperation with the global company (Shell) organize a forum regarding developing the private sector in Iraq in Basra province.The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Oil, Asem Jihad, mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday “The Ministry of Oil is organizing this forum to grant the private sector companies a better opportunity to develop and grow,” pointing out that “The forum will take place in Basra province in coordination with other concerned ministries.””The Ministry of Oil is considering the contribution of the private sector in enhancing the infrastructure of Oil and energy fields since the private sector succeeded in attracting the global investment sober companies and keeping up with the progressed modern technology,” the statement added.”The forum will be established in Basra International Hotel and all the national and global companies, that work in Basra, were invited to attend this forum which will be attended by many ministers, MPs and the directorates concerned in financial and economic affairs,” the statement pointed out. \
