MoT prevents importing food materials

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Trade decided to prevent the entry of food materials imported from all worldwide except (Egypt, Jordan, Sudan and Syria).

A source of Traibeel border inlet reported to IraqiNews.com “The administration of Traibeel border inlet received instructions from the Ministry of Trade that stipulates preventing the entry of any food materials except if they were imported from Egypt, Jordan, Sudan and Syria.”

“The rest countries of the world should obtain a formal decree ratified by the Iraqi embassy on that country,” the source added.

“The source did not mention any further information concerning this prevention,” the source concluded.
