Dozens people killed, injured due to Babel hospital fire

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) A medical source in Babel General Hospital revealed that “Dozens of people were killed and injured due to the fire that broke out in the hospital on Sunday.”The medical source told IraqiNews.com that “Five people lost their lives and dozens were injured due to the fire which broke out in the second and the third floors of the hospital.””The deaths and the injuries were also caused due to suffocation from smoke and the people stampedes towards the exits for fear of fire,” the source added.”The material damages, which were estimated after putting out the fire, reached about 60% of the building,” the source pointed out. \
