IED explodes in northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed while his brother was injured when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded near their home in al-Hijal village of Shurqat district of northern Tikrit on Monday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED went off killing the civilian and injuring his brother.”

“The security force condoned the explosion area and transferred dead body to the morgue and the injured to the hospital,” the source concluded.
