Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) Five police elements were killed or injured due to a car bomb explosion to the north of Diyala province.Security source told the correspondent of IraqiNews.com on Monday “The car bomb, which was parked on a roadside in Balad Roz district of northern Baquba city, exploded when a police patrol passed through the area.””The explosion resulted in killing a police officer, with a Major rank, and injuring another Police Colonel while three other policemen were injured due to the explosion,” the source added.”The ambulance vehicles rushed to the explosion scene transporting the dead body to the morgue and the injured police elements to the nearest hospital for treatment,” the source concluded. \
