US Ambassador to Iraq congratulates Iraqis on Nowruz

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The US Ambassador to Iraq, Steven Beecroft, extended his congratulations to the Iraqi people on Nowruz Festival.

A statement by the US embassy reported on Wednesday “I would like to exploit this occasion in which the Iraqi families gather to celebrate Nowruz Day, to express my best heartfelt wishes to the Iraqi people.”

“The US people would like to share with you the celebration of the coming of Spring season and it looks forward to continue efforts to consolidate the friendship between the two peoples,” the statement added.

The USA is adherent to support all Iraq’s communities and sects in their efforts to build a democratic Iraqi state that enjoys prosperity under free federal pluralistic regime.
