INA MP describes Iraqiya Satellite Channel as being \"Politicized\"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wail Abdul Latif, of the Iraqi National Alliance described the semi-official Iraqiya Satellite Channel as being “Politicized,” accusing it of “Reporting the news from another channel that is the enemy of the Iraqi people.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), Latif said “The Iraqiya Satellite Channel must be for the Iraqis, but it is shown that it is politicized.”

“Regarding the decision of postponing the next elections in Anbar and Nineveh provinces, the Iraqiya Channel reported the news from another channel that is known as the enemy of the Iraqi people,” he added, noting that “The Iraqiya Channel denied the news later due to the anger of the Iraqi people because it is reported from that Channel which is supported by the terrorists.”

It is worth mentioning that the Iraqiya Channel reported that the Council of Ministers decided to postpone the next elections which resulted in confusing the public, but after a while it changed the news and stated that the elections are postponed in Anbar and Nineveh provinces only and not all over Iraq.
