Oil Ministry: 5th Oil Licenses session to be launched soon

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Oil announced its intention to launch a fifth Oil Licenses session to explore oil in Iraq.

The Minister of Oil, Abdul Kareem Leibi, stated in a conference over oil in Italy on last Wednesday “The fifth session will involve ten areas.”

“The session will be launched in the next few months,” he concluded.

Iraq launched four oil licenses sessions to explore oil and gas previously to upgrade its production to 12 million barrels-daily in 2017.
