Saudi delegation to visit Iraq soon to discuss swapping prisoners

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation from the Saudi Arabia will visit Iraq soon to discuss the file of swapping prisoners between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.

The Iraqi Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ghanim Alwan al-Jumaili, stated to al-Riyadh Saudi Newspaper “The high-level delegation will meet the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to settle the humanitarian file of swapping detainees.”

“The visit indicates the Saudi adherence to solve this important file as we hope to result in positive results,” he continued.

“The number of the Saudi prisoners in Iraq reached 62 prisoners where some of them were released,” he concluded.
