Majority of electoral coalitions against postponing local elections in Anbar, Nineveh, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Khalid al-Alwani of Anbar province confirmed that “The decision of postponing the local elections in Anbar and Nineveh is ill-considered as the majority of the coalitions refuse.”

Alwani mentioned according to a statement “13 out of 16 electoral coalitions are against postponing the provincial elections, this emphasizes that “This decision does not represent the province at all.”

“Postponing the local elections is devotion for oppression and reject for peaceful transition for power,” he added.
