Alwani stresses withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ahmed al-Alwani, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed the necessity of reconsidering the mistakes of the former stage and to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to replace him for the remaining period for the current Parlaimentary rotation.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “There must be a solution for the multiple problems with the Government by replacing Maliki.”

“The demonstrators in Anbar formed a committee to negotiate with the Government and we are waiting for nominating the representatives of the demonstrators of other provinces in this committee to send the negotiating delegation to discuss the 13 demands of the demonstrators,” he added.

“If we gain our rights, we will have a different stance towards the Government,” he concluded.
